Intuitive Coaching 101–Launch into Spring

dscn6337I apologize for anyone reading this who resides in the Southern Hemisphere. Since I reside in the Northern Hemisphere, I’m unable to wrap my mind around fall. I’m experiencing spring and so this post focuses on activities that usher in the season of buds, blossoms, and baby animals.

I’m also focusing on body cleanses, change of diet, change of wardrobe, and getting life back in our step.

First, let’s look at diet. My Spirit Guides and Higher Self have been telling me to eat more sprouted food, more soured food, and more seeds. Now, if you are a vegan or vegetarian you are already doing this to some degree. And you also want to hold off on eating lots of greens, including sprouted grasses until the weather warms up a bit. I found that when I indulged in greens (in a big way), including sprouts and it was cold and windy outside, I felt chilled and exhausted. Also, wait until the weather warms up before returning to smoothies, especially if you use ice or frozen fruit.

If you are eating lighter, then you can go easy on body cleanses (detoxing pollutants out of your internal organs). And remember to consult with a medical practitioner before using any of the following herbs. Just because something is natural, doesn’t always mean you can handle it. Cleansing herbs include Red Clover, Burdock, Dandelion Root, and Milk Thistle. Cleansing foods include fiber, greens, and beets. Many people drink teas or juices with these herbs or drink live juices of vegetables, fruits, and grasses. Go slow with a cleanse. When I tried to rush a cleanse, I ended up suffering from digestion, skin, and other issues.

Start an exercise program that gets you out in nature. This could include jogging, walking, biking, hiking, or yoga at a park. If you suffer from allergies, see your medical practitioner about taking herbal formulas and supplements. Buy a neti pot to cleanse the sinuses of pollen, dust, and mold. This will allow you to spend time outdoors.

Your wardrobe requires revamping. It’s time to go with lighter weight and lighter color fabrics. You might go all natural if possible. See if you can find clothing made from organic cotton, bamboo, silk, or hemp. The lighter colors are easier on our eyes as we move into a new season of light. And we blend in with the natural spring colors. We also wear a lot of red during the reign of the Aries Sun (March 20 to April 20).

Set intentions during the Equinox. What do you want to accomplish or experience during the next six months until the next Equinox? Set the intention. Meditate to receive information about your next step. Then come up with a step-by-step plan that you can break down into daily doses.

When I wrote my first novel, I broke it down into writing three pages a day. I gave myself time off on the weekends. You can reward yourself when you meet your daily or weekly or monthly goals.

Remember to make a wish when you see the first robin of spring. I learned about this from Ted Andrews’ Animal Speak.

Sign up for a personal coaching session. I can help you get clear with your intentions by giving you a card reading, reading your astrology chart or channeling messages for you. I don’t make predictions but I will brainstorm with your Higher Self. You can sign up at wholemusicexp at gmail.com I will have limited availability in April and May. So sign up early. Payment is through PayPal. I accept checks and cash for in-person sessions.
